Youth Camp (Part 5-Mission Trip)

The next day we went for Orang Asli (means aborigine) Mission Trip in Pahang and Jelebu.I was in the same car with Manjit (driver), Prisca, Colleen, Joyce, Lydia, Jeremy and John.

Everyone in the car was very quiet, i tried making conversations, but most of the time i was just talking to myself (sad). Seriously, it was so quiet i thought i was the only one in the car. Okay, i am exaggerating again.

We stopped by for lunch, and Joyce felt car-sick. Dr. Lung gave her motion-sickness pills. She barely ate because she said that she didn't want to vomit a "pizza" out in the car. The term pizza was created by me, cause when you vomit, a round puddle will come out with "toppings" in it.

We reached the first destination, Pahang. We sang two songs: Yesus pokok and Hatiku Percaya. Then we had a sharing, and then the youth played with the children.

Me and Colleen made a pinata for the children, mine was a fur ball while Colleen's was a donkey, because the donkey got "dismantled", so it became a log. We played with mine first, cause mine was smaller and they had less people in the first stop.

My pinata's string broke first before the candy came out, so we kick it around. In the end we just tore it open for the children.

Second stop, Jelebu. We sang another two songs: Yesus Pokok(again) and Rajawali. Because we lack time, so during the sharing we played with the children.

Colleen made the pinata with too flexible material, the pinata wouldn't break at all and the worst part of all is that the strings broke first before the pinata just like mine. Weng Ern, Jeremy and me was trying to rehang it with a different and stronger string. It still didn't break, so we gave up and i broke by pushing down on it with my hands and putting my whole body weight on it. It, of course and finally, broke in half and i got chocolate and jello smeared on my sleeves, and then Prisca played another game with them (the second photo) which is hard to explain, cause i don't really understand the game myself.

Then it was time to leave, on the way back Manjit got lost. But we eventually found the way and i continued trying to make conversations. We stopped at a gas station to buy stuff and go to the loo, i bought a pack of chewing gum and then someone bought something and bla bla bla.

Oh! i forgot to tell you all something, Jeremy was sleeping all the way when we were traveling. So, he claimed the name "Sleeping Beauty", cause of his "talent" to sleep so well and also cause Lydia said his skin is so smooth. He bought red bull at the gas station i mentioned earlier and he drank the whole thing. The best part was that bottle of red bull lasted him for about a few minutes and he went back to sleep. So as the Koreans and Japanese say "daebak! Ichiban!". If you localize it, it'll become "bestnya!".

These are some photos, yeah don't need to guess which ones me, cause i'm not in there.

And then bla bla bla, we reached the church and went home and so on and so on.

Youth Camp! The End!
