New Year's Eve's Eve

I needed to bring my grandpa for medical check ups, so i had my breakfast in the General Hospital. Then i went out to eat lunch a little later. i went with my aunt, she finished eating first, so she went to another restaurant to eat again. She asked me to walk over myself later.

After i finished, i payed and left. When i was walking over i slipped and fell, my leg got stuck between the drain cover, i had to slowly pull it out, and it hurt like crazy. Since there was a clinic nearby,my aunt ask me to go get a jab, cause it was a metal cover.

i had to wait for 1 whole hour for the doctor to come, by the time he reached, he gave me the jab and applied some medicine on it, and of course it hurts! He gave some pain killers which really helped, now i can walk like normal but after the drug dissolves, then i can't even sleep. Could you imagine? Of course you can't! But there are still people who've seen worst.

At around 8p.m. i met up with my BFF to watch movie~~ We watched "Meet The Parents" which is so funny.

The Hebron

Wow~~~ after a busy day in church i had to go home pack and leave. To where? The Hebron of course! Let me explain, The Hebron is a farm like shelter for trouble children. It's awesome cause there's no electronics only on rare occasions like tonight.

When we reached, they were having a practice. I played around with the children there, they don't seem like trouble children to me, just like every other ordinary children i know.

I met two aunties there who can really blow the shofars, she told me with the help of the holy spirit i can blow just as well as she can. FYI: i blow the shofar in church for worship but sometimes the sound doesn't come out.

i had a nice meal but William was too tired, so we couldn't stay for the performance they prepare... TT

Results and Caroling

Guess what! It's result day!! Ya i know you can tell by the tittle but it's still fun to say "guess what". I got 4A's 3B's and a D. I told mom my Chinese sucks and i didn't want to take that paper, but NO~~ she still insisted me to take it, and i got a D. Well at least i didn't fail it(FYI: A to D is not counted as fail only E is).

Anyways, it's also caroling day!! i totally don't know what to wear! So i just stole my aunt's slacks and wore a thin white t-shirt and put my jacket on.

My aunt brought me for supper, we had pizza. Then i passed by a shop that sells accessories, so i bought half a dozen of red wrist bands and another half of  yellow ones. Cause the dress code for this year's caroling is white top, black bottom and something red. Although my hair was already red, but auntie Peggy said "wear" not "have".

Then when i arrived at church, i self proclaim myself the most casual caroler! WOHOO! hahaha, anyways we went to 4 houses in total. But i'll skip the first three houses and go to the last, cause my favourite parts are all at the last house.

OMG~~ Darren has a Siberian Husky!!!!! My favourite dog!!! *Calming down* ok when we got there i was extremely hungry so i bet everyone else was too. We ended the caroling with feliz navidad we were all high by then.

Then, i explored Darren's house. It was awesome, i loved his dog!! the youths, which include me, found a wonderful place with a sensor light. but the light only lights up when you walk over to it. we were too far to reach it so it kept on going off. Colleen tried to throw her shoe over but it didn't work. Cause someone had to walk over to make it light up.

We had a Birthday Party for Jon and we tried to push his head in the cake and Auntie May (Jon's Mom) scream on the top of her voice " NO! " You know la... Over protective mother. Then bla bla bla~~~ can't remember all details~~

Christmas Party

My church (WFA Church) had a party for children and the youth had to help out. We had to go there early cause we needed to practice the actions for the worship songs. We sang: who is the king of the jungle(its not what u think it is), shalalala(sorry can't find this), My GOD Is So Big(FYI: this is not my church), Jesus Loves The Little Ones Like Me Me Me(this is also not my church), Today Is My Favourite Day(couldn't find this either), Silent Night, and Joy To The World(I'm sure u all know these two, right?).

These are the youths who came (alphabetical order): Anna (drummer), Colleen (lead singer and actions), Jacquelina (Actions, that's me), Jeremy (back-up singer), John (back-up singer), Jocelyn (synthesizer), Lareina (back-up singer) and Lydia (pianist, is she still counted as youth?).

We had to do warm-up game, because Anna was late. We asked the children to do the banana dance, i goes like this: peel peel peel, banana~ eat eat eat, banana~ throw throw throw, banana~ step step step, banana~ And we did a few star jumps too.

After worship, Auntie Gui Wa had a teaching session. She showed a short part from Snoopy. Where Linus recited Luke 2:10-11.

Luke 2:10-11
And the angel said to them,
"Be not afraid; for behold,I bring you good news
of great joy which will come to all the people;
for to you is born this day in the city of David
a Saviour who is Christ the Lord.

Then it was time for games (in charged by me and Colleen, mostly Colleen). The first game was a simple and easy one: Jesus says. You know it's something like Simon says. The next game we played was the pinata game again (the one that we played in the mission trip), we split the children into four groups. The second and fourth group got to play first, cause it would be chaotic if all four played together. They played with my two pinatas that i made first. I was holding one while Colleen held the other one. Poor Colleen, she got hit on the finger. It was easily broken, cause there was only one layer of newspaper and one layer of tissue paper.

Then, when it came to Colleen's pinata, everyone had to put full effort in hitting it to break it open, cause Colleen might have again made it with too flexible material or made it too thick. John and Jeremy were holding it this time and the strings just happen to break. We told Jeremy to put it on the floor, but he insist to hold it (which was dangerous). Well, in the end he still put it on the floor and let them hit it instead.Guess what, Colleen still haven't learn her lesson from the last pinata, that jellos can not be put into a pinata! The jello spilled on the carpet floor of the church, i had to get some water to clean it a bit.

After that, we grouped the children into Team A and Team B, they played basket-ball, it literally means a basket and a ball. You see in the so-called "baby room" we have in church has hand sized soft plastic balls. So all we have to do is, get a basket, get some balls, then it's basket-ball! In total there were two rounds, round one was for the children to throw the balls into a moving basket. Round two, the children had to throw the balls in the basket while sitting down. While picking the balls up, the children were "bullying" Jeremy by throwing the balls at him, trust me it was chaotic!

It was lunch time for the kids, and while they eat, we (the youths) prepared for the next game, Treasure Hunt! We had to hide a few things, towels, deflated balloons and fake presents that looked like sweets. To make it special, we had "moving treasures", means by a few of the youths take a treasure and hide it on a noticeable yet not too noticeable on their body. I had a towel in my hat, but i left a little bit out at the side to be noticeable. Lydia tied a balloon on her wrist, Jocelyn had a red balloon tied on a Santa Claus hat, Jeremy had another balloon tied to his belt. After the gamed ended, there were some who noticed but didn't dare to take it. I guess the children were too shy.

It was time for prizes, Team A won. So they get the slightly bigger prizes, while Team B got the slightly smaller prizes but like i always say, good thing comes in small packages. So if i were them I've taken the small ones, which i did. It came out to be a pink towel with Tom & Jerry on it.

Slowly, the children went home one by one but the youths went back a little later. And we played with the confetti Colleen brought. The funny thing is, Jeremy always, always and always is the target. We shot at him and he was stinky after that, i sprayed some of it on his hair (the next day i was the one who had hair filled with confetti), i think everyone got sprayed but most of us aimed at Jeremy (even the next day in church we shot at him, he had to hide in the toilet) Then Colleen had to go home, but she promised to bring it tomorrow. So the fun end there, and we headed home, cause it's not like I'm gonna stay overnight in the church again.

Christmas Party, The End!

Youth Camp (Part 5-Mission Trip)

The next day we went for Orang Asli (means aborigine) Mission Trip in Pahang and Jelebu.I was in the same car with Manjit (driver), Prisca, Colleen, Joyce, Lydia, Jeremy and John.

Everyone in the car was very quiet, i tried making conversations, but most of the time i was just talking to myself (sad). Seriously, it was so quiet i thought i was the only one in the car. Okay, i am exaggerating again.

We stopped by for lunch, and Joyce felt car-sick. Dr. Lung gave her motion-sickness pills. She barely ate because she said that she didn't want to vomit a "pizza" out in the car. The term pizza was created by me, cause when you vomit, a round puddle will come out with "toppings" in it.

We reached the first destination, Pahang. We sang two songs: Yesus pokok and Hatiku Percaya. Then we had a sharing, and then the youth played with the children.

Me and Colleen made a pinata for the children, mine was a fur ball while Colleen's was a donkey, because the donkey got "dismantled", so it became a log. We played with mine first, cause mine was smaller and they had less people in the first stop.

My pinata's string broke first before the candy came out, so we kick it around. In the end we just tore it open for the children.

Second stop, Jelebu. We sang another two songs: Yesus Pokok(again) and Rajawali. Because we lack time, so during the sharing we played with the children.

Colleen made the pinata with too flexible material, the pinata wouldn't break at all and the worst part of all is that the strings broke first before the pinata just like mine. Weng Ern, Jeremy and me was trying to rehang it with a different and stronger string. It still didn't break, so we gave up and i broke by pushing down on it with my hands and putting my whole body weight on it. It, of course and finally, broke in half and i got chocolate and jello smeared on my sleeves, and then Prisca played another game with them (the second photo) which is hard to explain, cause i don't really understand the game myself.

Then it was time to leave, on the way back Manjit got lost. But we eventually found the way and i continued trying to make conversations. We stopped at a gas station to buy stuff and go to the loo, i bought a pack of chewing gum and then someone bought something and bla bla bla.

Oh! i forgot to tell you all something, Jeremy was sleeping all the way when we were traveling. So, he claimed the name "Sleeping Beauty", cause of his "talent" to sleep so well and also cause Lydia said his skin is so smooth. He bought red bull at the gas station i mentioned earlier and he drank the whole thing. The best part was that bottle of red bull lasted him for about a few minutes and he went back to sleep. So as the Koreans and Japanese say "daebak! Ichiban!". If you localize it, it'll become "bestnya!".

These are some photos, yeah don't need to guess which ones me, cause i'm not in there.

And then bla bla bla, we reached the church and went home and so on and so on.

Youth Camp! The End!

Youth Camp (Part 4-Hit The Sack A.K.A Pillow Talk)

It was late and it was time to hit the sack or mattress for the matter of fact. Girls on 3rd floor and guys on 4th floor. We had to move the "sack" from the 4th floor to 3rd floor. At first there was only Colleen and me having our pillow talk (content is not to be shared). Then Anna and Joyce joined in.

Around 3a.m. then only we dosed off to sleep. We were like Tunas in a can, cause it was cold. So we stayed "close" to each other so we can share the heat. At 4a.m. I woke up(normal for me cause i have insomnia) walked around, did this, did that, tried to sleep and so on. Then i remembered what my mother said, that if you wake up in the middle of the night and can't sleep, you might as well pray to GOD.So, i started praying for tomorrow's mission trip, i fell asleep half way through(about 5a.m.).

Youth Camp (Part 3-Dance, Dinner & Movie)

You know how I said earlier that we were doing a skit and a dance. Well, after wash up we had a dance practice. It didn't look too hard at first. But when the jumping part comes in, I feel like I am FIFTY instead of FIFTEEN(okay, maybe a little exaggerated). Then we started practicing the skit, it wasn't that bad for the first time. But it was funny cause we changed the Main Character from a girl to a boy. Then Anna finally apeared after her "fully packed" schedule of study and sleep.

Dinner time! We had fried rice, the amount bought was too much, about two and a half servings for one person. Ended up we had to save it for later, we wrote our names on our own "dinner" boxes. According to what i know, only me, Colleen and Joyce when back to eat it.

Weng Ern brought a movie for us to watch, it's called "To Save A Life". It was a touching and nice show, i won't write much of the details of the movie, if you want to know go watch it yourself.

Youth Camp (Part 2- Lake Garden)

We then headed to Lake Garden for outdoor games. It just rained not long ago, so the grass was wet. When Colleen asked me to go help her fill the water balloons, I was playing with uncle Kai Yew's youngest daughter. So Colleen said never mind and went off with Timothy to fill the balloons. I piggy-backed uncle's daughter and then fell on the grass which hurt a bit, at first i thought it was impact but then afterwards it started bleeding, so i went to look for Colleen.

Apparently, i couldn't find her and i gave up but while i was walking back, i saw Jason, he said he knew where Colleen was. So, we reached the tap where Colleen and Timothy was filling in the water-balloons. I washed my wound and helped carry some of the water balloons. We decided to ask the rest of the youth to come to us because it was a little far.

By the time everyone reached Colleen explain what we where going to play. She gave out handkerchiefs to pass the balloons. Jeremy and Joyce got a triangular ones while the rest got normal square ones, Jeremy made a pouch like "thingy" to "transport" the balloon. When i said he looked like a kangaroo, ironically i was wearing a shirt with a kangaroo picture on it (my aunt bought it for me when she was in Australia). I think both teams reach the finish line on the same time, i don't really remember.

Then, we had a water balloon fight because we had extra balloons. We threw balloons everywhere i aimed at Colleen but she got out of the way before the balloon hit the floor.Well, barely anyone got wet cause even a direct aim at the target, the balloons won't burst. Jeremy still didn't know that and took a balloon and point blankly hit me on the shoulder, which of course, HURT, badly. I guess Colleen bought too good quality balloons for this game. But i got back at Jeremy afterwards by slapping him on the shoulder while telling him it hurts. We even "broke" or "bursted" TWO balloons on top of Chris. By then our balloons were finished, so Weng Ern went to fill up more balloons while we wait, Joyce asked who got bitten the most by mosquitoes, i claimed the most. Cause, well, i got bitten the most. (she took a picture of it)

Then, Weng Ern got more balloons and by the time he reached, everyone started throwing balloons and by the time the first bucket of balloons was empty, Colleen threw the excessive water on me. My front was completely wet and then we checked to see who wasn't wet, and Jeremy and John wasn't even wet a bit. But don't know why everyone aimed for Jeremy but not John.

Me and Colleen then made a plan, I'll hold on to Jeremy while Colleen pour water on him. I got to him grabbed on to him but Colleen got stuck in the mud a few meters away (i almost got stuck, but i left my shoes in the mud so i could continue to run after Jeremy). And Jeremy push me on my back and i fell in mud, while he was running away and i got up while saying you're SO dead. I, of course ran after him but i slipped and fell again (it was raining yesterday so the grass was wet).

While i was looking for my shoes i found Colleen's and Jeremy's, so to vent my anger on him, i wore his shoes and walked around in mud, hoping the mud would get stuck in it. Then the rest of the youth got him wet, so i gave back his shoes, cause he was wet enough.

Youth Camp (Part 1-Morning & Afternoon)

This year i went to the youth camp organized by White Fields Assembly church.

We started off with worship, then we had game which was organized by me and Colleen. After that we had a discussion on what we should do during Christmas. After feeling lost for a few hours, we thought we should do
lifehouse everything skit and because we had extra time Jeremy suggested we danced Planet Shakers' Nothing is Impossible.

We then had lunch, Jason cooked for us because we saw that the pictures he took of his own cooking while in Australia looked so good. Lunch was awesomely delicious.

Then we had a sharing session, where Jeremy and Weng Ern shares about how G
OD had helped them. Jeremy recently just returned from Laos for a mission trip, he talked while toying with his handphone (which was annoying ). He said Laos couldn't afford meat, so he ate veggie for 1 week. He told us about how he struggle with himself spiritually and how GOD gave him the vision of fire coming down from heaven.

Then it was Weng Ern's turn, he was in charge of a program called the Alpha program. He said that praying to G
OD to guide you step by step before you plan something is important because everything he plan didn't go according to schedule.
